Frequently asked questions
Is anything I enter stored or sent anywhere?
No. All calculations run in your browser with JavaScript. Your grades are never uploaded, and they are gone when you reload or close the page. The privacy policy explains what the page itself loads, such as ads.
Are the results official?
No. They are estimates to help you plan and fill in forms. Your school, your university or the evaluation service you apply through decides what counts. Each calculator names its source so you can compare it with your institution’s rule.
How do I convert CGPA to percentage?
Use the CGPA to percentage calculator and pick the rule your board or university uses: CBSE multiplies by 9.5, VTU uses (CGPA − 0.75) × 10, JNTUH uses (CGPA − 0.5) × 10, and many universities use CGPA × 10.
Which GPA scale do the calculators use?
The GPA calculators default to the standard US 4.0 scale with plus/minus grades, and offer a 4.3 scale and a letters-only scale. High-school weighting bonuses are editable. If your school publishes its own table, trust that one.
Do I need to convert my grades to apply to a university abroad?
Often not by yourself: many universities want your original transcript, and some ask for an official evaluation. Read the guide to converting grades for applications before you rely on any calculator.
Is GradeBridge free?
Yes. The site is supported by advertising, which keeps every calculator free without registration.
